DO I NEED A BIOLOGICAL OR HOLISTIC DENTIST?
Here’s some questions to ask if you’re wondering about your dentist choice:
1. Am I having chronic health problems? And if yes, do I have root canals or any previously extracted teeth?
2. Am I interested in options other than root canals for infected teeth?
3. Do I want a dentist that will only put 100 percent nontoxic materials in my mouth should I need a filling?
4. Am I interested in preventive dentistry that uses only nonharmful substances?
5. Am I interested in mercury-free dentistry?
6. Do I want a dentist that will remove any mercury fillings in a way that protects me from further mercury poisoning?
7. Am I interested in dental care that takes into account whole body wellness?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions then you may want to research to see if biological or holistic dentistry is for you. The IAOMT and IABDM websites list dentists certified in various holistic protocols. These lists are just certifications of education, not licenses, so you should still research any dentist just as you would any doctor that you plan to see.
